Summer Riding Experience #1

“Rock Creek”

Rock Creek is best suited for Dirt Bikes and Quads.

(We are currently working with the Mt Hood Ranger District to open up this location to larger UTV’s and Side By Sides mid-summer 2020.)

With roughly 150 miles of trails this location is a must see for anybody looking for the full experience of renting and riding the Mt Hood National Forest. This location offers everything you could want in a long days ride or full weekend adventure. If you’re looking for Scenic Viewpoints then this is for you…. If you’re looking for wide open graveled double wide trails then this is for you…. If you’re looking for a long weekend of camping and riding then this is for you…. If you’re looking for a mixture of lush dense forests and high desert plains, then you guessed it, this is for you….

Summer Riding Experience #2 (Day Trip)

“LaDee Flats”

Best suited for Side By Sides, UTV’s, Quads and Dirt Bikes

LaDee Flats is located only 20 minutes away from Mt Hood ATV Rentals, LLC shop located in Sandy, OR. LaDee is a newer riding area that is still being developed and is roughly half the size of Rock Creek. It’s most impressive feature is that it is open YEAR ROUND, even in the winter. It does get snow in the winter but not enough for Snowmobiling. Even though it’s smaller than Rock Creek it still offers plenty of riding for a full days adventure. We also like that it’s within 5 miles of fishing and restaurants at North Fork Reservoir outside the small town of Estacada.

Winter Snowmobile Adventure #3

“Skyline Sno Park”

Snowmobiling on Mt Hood is located approximately 5 minutes West of Government Camp and the local Ski Areas. Skyline is our most popular option as it has an old fashioned and quaint log cabin used as a public gathering place and warming hut. It also has the most spacious parking area. Along with Skyline Sno Park there is also “Frog Lake Sno Park” and “White River West Sno Park” as alternative staging areas. They all connect to the same Mount Hood Snowmobile trail system. Thank you to our local Mt Hood Snowmobile Club for maintaining our world class groomed trail system of 200+ miles of snowmobiling fun. We can’t emphasize enough how great of an experience this is for the whole family and why our customers constantly say this is the best thing to do on Mt Hood in the winter. Riding season is typically Thanksgiving through Easter depending on weather and snow levels. We have Single Rider and Double Rider “2-up” snowmobiles available. Our 2-up snowmobiles are popular with families looking to enjoy a scenic ride with breathtaking views from the Frog Lake Lookout Tower to the shores of Timothy Lake. Customers choose Mt Hood ATV Rentals, LLC because we offer the most freedom with un-guided rentals and we only ask that you keep it on the 200+ miles of groomed snowmobile trails.
